Tagged again on FB!

Tagged again, but this one's a little different. No 7-7-7 biz, just the first sentence or two of the first three chapters of your current WIP. So, here goes. From book 2 of Max & Sean's duology:

1) “Is everything alright, Dominus?” Max blinked from his reverie and looked down at young Jared, sitting between his knees on the floor.

2) “Hey, Sean. Good to see you. Come on in.” Sean smiled as Scott gestured him into the house. “Thanks. You, too. Nice shirt.”

3) Body on fire, Sean paused at Max’s words. They didn’t exactly make sense. Or maybe Sean’s brain just wasn't computing.
